Research on Well-Being

Supporting Educators, Strengthening Schools

Lesley's research examines educator well-being as a critical foundation for thriving, inclusive schools. Drawing on qualitative methods and sector-wide partnerships, her work explores how organizational conditions shape the daily experiences of teachers, educational assistants and school leaders.  Lesley is particularly interested in how educator well-being intersects with students' learning conditions, especially in diverse school communities.  Her research highlights that when educators are supported and valued, they are able to create inclusive and meaningful learning environments for all students.
